Located between I-45 and U.S. Highway 290, the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail offers visitors spectacular views and award-winning wines in Southeast Texas. Our member wineries include, Bernhardt Winery, Plantersville, Texas, Messina Hof Winery, Bryan, Texas, Peach Creek Vineyards , College Station, Texas, Perrine Winery, College Station, Texas, Pleasant Hill Winery, Brenham, Texas, Saddlehorn Winery, Burton, Texas, Texas Star Winery, Chappell Hill, Texas, and West Sandy Creek Winery, Richards, Texas. Throughout the year, the member wineries on the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail each offer unique wine experiences including wine tastings, grape crushing and stomp, mystery dinners, music concerts, wine paired dinners, vineyard tours, a variety of wine-related gifts and much, much more. In addition, the member wineries along the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail work together to produce FIVE very different, seasonal wine trail events each year.

February Wine & Chocolate Trail

First two weekends in February every year

The Wine & Chocolate Trail is a wonderful way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. For four days on the first two weekends in February, your trail ticket allows you to sample two wine tastings paired with a wonderful chocolate delicacy at each of the member wineries along the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail.

When you arrive at your first winery, you will receive a Commemorative Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail glass to use and keep for all of your tastings. Ticket holders will also receive a specially selected Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail gift at their sixth stop, while supplies last.

Guests can start at the winery of their choice. Trail tickets are valid for one visit at all of the wineries over the two weekends of the trail, regardless of when tickets are purchased. Ticket holders have four days over two weekends to visit all the member wineries. The official hours for this event are Noon to 5:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday for each trail weekend, regardless of the wineries’ individual tasting room hours.

Spring Bluebonnet Wine and Cheese Trail

Three Weekends During March – April each year

Come celebrate Texas wild flowers and wine with your local winery!

The Spring Bluebonnet Wine and Cheese Trail is a wonderful way to enjoy the beauty of native Texas wildflowers and enjoy the blooming viticulture at some of Texas’ best wineries. This is the namesake event for the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail.

The Texas Bluebonnet Wine & Cheese Trail is scheduled for three weekends in late March or early April. Guests can enjoy a select pairing of two wines and a specially crafted cheese appetizer at each stop. At their first winery, guests will receive a commemorative Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail glass to keep and use for all of the tastings. Ticket holders will also receive a specially selected Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail gift at their sixth stop, while supplies last.

Guests can start at the winery of their choice. Trail tickets are valid for one visit to each of the wineries over the three weekends of the trail, regardless of when tickets are purchased. Ticket holders have five or six days over three weekends to visit all member wineries (many of the wineries will be CLOSED on Easter Sunday so a phone call is recommended on that day if Easter falls on one of the Trail weekends).

Two Weekends in July Each Year

Can’t take the heat? Looking for something better than routine? Then hop in the car and discover what grape harvest and Texas Wine is all about! Wine Not?

Participants will receive one summer scrumptious food pairing with two wine pairings at each winery they visit. It’s a great opportunity to take a break from the heat, learn more about Texas wine, visit with the wine makers and winery owners and most importantly, have some summer fun! Ticket holders have four days to visit the wineries on two weekends in July.

Ticket holders on this trail will receive a Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail glass upon arrival to their first winery. Participants will also receive a specially selected Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail gift at their sixth stop, while supplies last.

Guests can start at the winery of their choice. Trail tickets are valid for one visit at all of the wineries over the two weekends of the trail regardless of when tickets are purchased. Ticket holders have four days over two weekends to visit all the member wineries.

October Wine & Sausage Trail

The Texas Department of Agriculture has designated October as Texas Wine Month, so celebrate Texas wine by touring the October Wine & Sausage Trail.

The first two weekends in October the member wineries along the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail will celebrate Texas Wine Month with the Wine and Sausage Trail. Your ticket is valid for one visit to each winery over the four trail dates.

Tickets will includes two select wine tastings, paired with a unique sausage appetizer at each winery.

When you arrive at your first winery, you will receive a Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail glass to use and keep for all of your tastings. In addition, Trail guests will receive a specially selected Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail gift at the sixth winery visited, while supplies last.
